PointClickCare and Align have partnered to help providers boost employee engagement and improve resident outcomes.

The EHR vendor introduced the PointClickCare Employee Engagement and PointClickCare Customer Experience at the LeadingAge convention this week. The solutions, powered by Align, “will enable care providers to prioritize their efforts and establish a road map for staff success,” the company said.

Align CEO Neil Gulsvig noted that low employee engagement has multiple negative effects, including absenteeism.

“We want to help onboard in the right way to create a culture of engagement,” he told McKnight’s. “As retention goes up, workplace injuries go down.”

PointClickCare Employee Engagement and PointClickCare Customer Experience will include letting providers capture feedback on resident satisfaction, create custom questions and leverage assessment results on performance outcomes. It also will work on the customer and employee experience.
