COMS Interactive LLC has added Nutrition IQ to its Daylight IQ product suite.

Nutrition IQ identifies potential problems between nutrition and medication regimes, and offers a process for stabilizing the health of a resident in long-term care. Caregivers can change dietary plans and is in response to the needs of post-acute residents, the company said.

“This latest addition to Daylight IQ™ extends the already comprehensive solution and serves to further enhance our organization’s strategic advantage,” said Prentice Thompson, the CEO of Foundation Health Services. “The coordination of disease management, medication management and nutrition management represents another step in improving the overall quality of care for our residents and the accompanying reduction in unnecessary hospital readmissions.”
