The boards of directors at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Foundation and Aviv Centers for Living said the organizations will combine to serve seniors north of Boston.
CJF serves more than 500 individuals through skilled nursing and short-term rehab, along with assisted living, independent living and home care. Aviv offers assisted living, skilled nursing, adult day health, short-term rehabilitation, and geriatric care management for more than 300 residents and patients.
The Chelsea Jewish Foundation management team will operate the combined organization. Aviv’s individual facilities — the Waldfogel Health Center, Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Health, and the Woodbridge Assisted Living complex — will all retain their names.
