Carstens Inc. is entering into a three-year agreement with HPSI Purchasing Services, with the latter selling Carstens’ products in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
Chicago-based Carstens creates patient record keeping solutions, such as charting systems and records management. HPSI is a group purchasing organization based in Irvine, CA and has more than 9,300 nursing homes in its membership.
“Carstens complements our current vendor portfolio and allows us to offer members access to GPO pricing with one of our industry’s leaders,” said Greg Perron, senior vice president of contract administration for HPSI.
The new agreement between HPSI and Carstens involves two pricing tiers, with tier one available to all HPSI members.
