Optimus EMR Inc. announced the launch of its new Optimus Billing and Financial System (OBFS) last week.
The OBFS is fully integrated with the company’s EMR clinical system, sharing one point of entry and a common database with the clinical EMR system. Prominent features include automatic retroactive re-billing and accounting for all changes in resident status/payor information; pre-populated Medicare Part A RUGS and Medicare Part B fee schedules and a way to import detailed billing information from third-party systems. It supports all forms of elemetronic billing and remittances, including 837/835.
The billing system was introduced at the Optimus Information Exchange in Tampa, FL.
