Bestbath has said it is using a new barrier coat on its products to increase durability and boost better surface quality.
When sprayed on the products, the coating lays flat to provide a smoother surface improving the fit and finish of the final product, the company said. The barrier coat is often found in hot tubs and spas, but is not common in the shower or bathtub industry.
In addition to another layer of protection, the coating results in lower emissions when applied, the company said.
“With the use of the new barrier coat on Bestbath products, we are able to provide our customers with the best shower possible,” said Nate Spencer, director of engineering at Bestbath.
