Apollo Safety has formed a new healthcare division with offerings related to gas detection equipment, maintenance and monitoring.
Apollo Safety’s offerings include a wide variety of portable and stationary gas detection systems, which are available for purchase or rental at weekly or monthly rates. Rental equipment is certified to NIST standards. The company is based in Fall River, MA, and provides on-site installation and training.
“At a healthcare facility like a doctor’s office or a hospital, [a gas leak] is even worse because it impacts people already in a weakened condition who may or may not be able to detect a smell to get help or remove themselves from that area,” said John C. Carvalho III, president of Apollo Safety Inc. “With our new healthcare division, we can tailor the detection and monitoring system to the facility to best meet their needs and help prevent tragedies.”
