The American College of Health Care Administrators is creating its own Hall of Fame intended to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the organization over an extended period, or those who made a unique and lasting contribution.

To be eligible for membership in the ACHCA Hall of Fame, individuals must have been an ACHCA member for at least 15 years. Some early members who do not meet the tenure requirement may be considered without it. All candidates must have attained the status of fellow to be considered. The individual must have served the organization in leadership roles and contributed to the success of the ACHCA in a variety of ways.

Members may nominate eligible candidates for election by the Hall of Fame Committee appointed by the chair of the ACHCA board. Elections to the Hall of Fame will occur during the same cycle as national elections for officers and board members occur. No more than four candidates will be elected each year, and they will be recognized at the annual ACHCA Convocation.
