3M Critical & Chronic Care Solutions Division announced the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services assigned product-specific Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System codes for the 3M™ Coban™ 2 Layer Lite Compression System (Cat #2794).
The company’s compression system is a bandaging system with two rolls for comfort and compression. The comfort layer was assigned HCPCS code A6441 (padding bandage) and the compression layer was assigned A6452 (high compression bandage). The new codes became effective October 10, 2014.
