McKnight’s is continuing its campaign to provide education about operating successfully under COVID-19 conditions. Its sixth Online Forum on the subject will take place Tuesday (Aug. 11). 

All sessions are free and come with continuing education credit.  

Starting out the day is a session on skin integrity. “The Effects of COVID-19 on Skin Health in Long-Term Care” will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET. Deanna Andel, a senior clinical consultant, and Darren Marani, a senior vice president, both with Cardinal Health, will be the featured speakers.

Next is a webinar on infection control. Autumn Henson, a geriatric nurse practitioner, assistant professor and wound care consultant for Physicians Eldercare and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, will lead “Attack on COVID-19: Maintaining Superior Infection Control with PPE and Disposable Products.” The session starts at 12 p.m. ET.

FInally, a staffing-focused session will conclude the program. “How to Improve Hiring Efforts in the Midst of, and After, COVID-19” will occur at 1:30 p.m. ET. Speakers will be Joe Schiller, senior director of human resources for Tutera Senior Living and Health Care; Melissa Schimmoeller, vice president of human resources for Americare; David Wilkins, chief strategy officer for HealthcareSource; and Martha Abercrombie, SPHR, product marketing strategist for HealthcareSource.
