Lessons on how providers can reduce risk and improve quality operations in 2021 will lead the way Wednesday when the 15th annual McKnight’s Spring Online Expo kicks off.

The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. E.T. Wednesday and Thursday (March 17 and 18), and will include a virtual exhibit hall. Doors to the hall open at 10:30 a.m. each day, followed by an 11 a.m. session.

Attendees can earn up to six free CE credits by attending sessions during their original broadcasts.

Wednesday starts with well-known payment and quality expert Leah Klusch delivering “Essential operational and clinical tasks for high-quality services and payment in 2021” in the 11 a.m. ET slot. She will be followed by sessions at 12:30 ET on maximizing wound care efforts and 2 p.m. on dealing with clinical changes in the long-term care space.

Day 2 will begin with “The next steps: Pharmacy-provided vaccination services in long-term care,” which will focus on continuing the flow of COVID-19 inoculations well after the government-sponsored clinics are complete this month.

Completing the day will be “Bridging the interoperability gap between referring hospitals and post-acute care providers” and “Hidden risks in your COVID safety and vaccine programs.” The latter includes a discussion with legal and insurance experts on some of the significant risks providers will be facing.
