Nursing home workers in Washington, PA, have agreed to temporarily halt a six-month strike, union members said Monday.

About 175 nursing home workers plan to return to work Wednesday at Presbyterian SeniorCare in Washington, according to the Service Employees International Union. They will return under terms covered by a settlement agreement reached earlier between the National Labor Relations Board and the nursing home.

The workers struck in June over issues concerning mandatory overtime, staffing policies and the cost of healthcare coverage, according to local news reports.
