Better navigation ability and a new and improved look are the hallmarks of the redesigned McKnight’s Long-Term Care website.Oft-viewed blogs — The Daily Editor’s Notes, The Real Nurse Jackie, Things I Think, and Rehab Realities — will now always be viewable on the homepage.

McKnight’s also has melded its popular sister site, Search Eldercare, into a new Marketplace section that helps readers stay current with the latest in products and services. Users still will be able to find well-known Expert columnists, along with purchasing reports, buyer’s guides, and product news.

Readers also will see new social media icons throughout the site. We encourage all to share news and blogs through their Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus or LinkedIn accounts.

It’s also now easier to find stories from the print edition of McKnight’s – just look to the top right-hand corner to see some of the “latest issue” stories, or look at the “Editor’s Picks” located toward the bottom of the home page.

In addition, Readers will notice the “subscription box” in the right-hand column that makes it easier to sign up for our popular emailed publications, such as McKnight’s Daily Update, McKnight’s Product Buzz, McKnight’s Weekly Roundup, 10 Minutes On, or Spotlight On. The Weekly Roundup page also has been revised so that it’s easier to see “Fast Forward” items, which preview coming events. Also, readers will see the month’s vendor and technology news on the new Product Buzz page.

“We’re very excited to bring this new and innovative website to the long-term care marketplace,” McKnight’s Editorial Director John O’Connor said. “Our readers are going to find it’s more informative, helpful and easier to navigate.”
