McKnight’s Long-Term Care News earned two national awards at the 2015  American Society of Business Publication Editors awards presentation on Friday in New York.

Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman led the way with a Gold Award for “Sharing Intimate Insight,” a profile on Kansas State University researcher Gayle Doll, Ph.D. The story appeared in the July 2014 issue of McKnight’s LTC News and won in the “Individual Profile-Short” category.

McKnight’s Long-Term Care News also received a national Bronze Award in the “Best News Section” category.

The Azbee Awards recognize outstanding work by business-to-business, trade, association and professional publications, covering magazines, newsletters and digital media. Regional awards are given out in eight geographic areas, with the top entries also receiving national awards during the ASBPE national conference.

The profile of Gayle Doll and McKnight’s News Section received Gold and Silver regional awards, respectively, at the 2015 Azbee Upper Midwest awards luncheon, held earlier this month in Rosemont, IL. McKnight’s Daily Update e-newsletter also received a Silver Award at the regional level.

McKnight’s editors have now been honored with 20 ASBPE awards over the last five years.
