The McKnight’s Long-Term Care News art and editorial teams captured seven awards in the 2022 Hermes Creative Awards.

Achieving top level (Platinum) awards were the title’s brand refresh campaign, which debuted last fall and included its already distinct “M,” and its 2022 media kit. The former builds on the brand’s pursuit of the thrill tenets of being “essential, informative and trustworthy.”

“The branding refresh of McKnight’s Long-Term Care News upholds those three pillars, starting with our logo,” the official entry noted. “It represents our connection to the community we serve, and signifies the strength of the network we’ve established for our customers and sponsors.”

Art Director Mark Speakman and Group Creative Director Jennifer Dvoretz were honored. Similarly, Dvoretz and graphic designers Aminah Beg and Vivian Chang were credited in the 2022 media kit award.

In other categories, McKnight’s Long-Term Care News captured Gold for Best Magazine, Best Overall Publication (Design), and Best Publication Column. The full staff was recognized in the first, Speakman and Dvoretz for the second, and Executive Editor James M. Berklan in the last for this column.

Honorable Mentions came for the team’s Daily Update e-newsletter and Editorial Director John O’Connor’s blogging.

McKnight’s brands earned 16 Hermes awards overall in the 2022 competition. McKnight’s Senior Living also won seven awards, while McKnight’s Home Care added two.

Each year, the Hermes Creative Awards international competition honors the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs.
