The McKnight’s Long-Term Care News editorial staff kept up a streak, earning seven national awards in the month of May.
For the seventh straight year, McKnight’s took home the Gold Award for Best News Coverage in the 2016 American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors competition.
Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman won an ASHPE Gold Award for her 2015 profile of Clifton J. Porter II, SVP of government relations for the American Health Care Association. The staff also earned Gold for Best Special Supplement/Buyer’s Guide for its 2016 McKnight’s Industry Directory.
Blogger Julie Thorson won Bronze for Best New Department for McKnight’s Living Leadership.
In the Hermes creative awards competition, McKnight’s received the top Platinum Award for blogging and Golds for news writing and overall publication.
