» Tryko Partners has added a Philadelphia skilled nursing facility with 173 total beds to its regional portfolio. The acquisition was announced in June. The company’s regional portfolio also has three additional SNFs in Pennsylvania.

» Monticello announced in late June that it has provided $41 million in debt financing to refinance two skilled nursing properties in Tennessee. The properties have a total of 336 skilled nursing beds. The transaction’s sponsor is an operator with more than 8,700 licensed beds. 

» Healthcare real estate investment trusts have collected about 95% of June rent as the coronavirus pandemic pushed forward, according to a Nareit survey. The findings were an improvement from May, when healthcare REITs collected just 89.8% of rent for the month. In April, the REITs collected 87.3% of the monthly rent. 

» Strawberry Fields REIT announced in early June it acquired a Kentucky-based skilled nursing facility for $5.4 million. The facility has 90 skilled nursing beds, 16 assisted living beds and an independent living cottage.
