McKnight’s Long-Term Care News captured three top honors in the 2021 Hermes Creative Awards, which honor creativity in traditional and digital mediums.

Mcknights.com was named a Gold Award winner for best home page, with the accolades shared by Art Director Mark Speakman, Staff Writer Danielle Brown, Senior Editor Kimberly Marselas and Executive Editor James M. Berklan.

“This news-focused page has a great mix of daily news items, columns and lighter industry news, enhanced by the lifted Quote of the Day — and that’s just ‘above the fold,’” judges noted.

In other categories, McKnight’s Long-Term Care News captured Gold for best magazine, while the 2020 McKnight’s Long-Term Care News media kit created by Speakman for advertising partners won an honorable mention.

McKnight’s Long-Term Care News won an additional Gold award in conjunction with McKnight’s Senior Living for the 2020 Women of Distinction Book of the Night. It also was designed by Speakman.

McKnight’s Senior Living won another three Golds and a Platinum award for its work in 2020.

Each year, Hermes competition judges evaluate publications, websites, branding and marketing efforts on behalf of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
