Looking for a New Year’s resolution? Here’s one: nominate an exceptional female colleague for a McKnight’s Women of Distinction award.
The deadline is Jan. 8 to show your appreciation for a dedicated woman who has positively affected your organization. The competition, held by McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and sister brand McKnight’s Senior Living, recognizes women in two categories: Hall of Honor, who are at the level of vice president (or equivalent) or higher and have made a significant impact in their organizations; and Rising Stars, who have less than 15 years of experience in the industry or no more than 40 years old, and demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the industry. A lifetime achievement award also will be bestowed and honorees will be celebrated at a May awards event in Chicago.
