Due to overwhelming interest and requests from providers, the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards application deadline has been extended one week, to Wednesday, July 31.
“Many skilled nursing providers take for granted the hard work they’ve put into things like reducing hospital readmissions through technology, or curbing infections through innovative strategies, and many other areas,” said McKnight’s Executive Editor James M. Berklan. “We’re looking forward to hearing from them in this final week.”

Skilled nursing and assisted living providers may enter in one or more of the six categories.
Whether it’s Quality, High Tech/High Touch, Innovator of the Year, Keep It Super Simple (KISS), Safety/Resident Security, or Transitions, providers shouldn’t miss the chance to showcase their success.
An independent group of judges is especially eager to see any possible data reflecting how operations improved.
Senior living operators have the same categories to choose from, except Activities is swapped in for Transitions.
