The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services last week revealed a new nursing home pay-for-performance demonstration.
The demonstration is designed to use financial incentives to promote quality, facilitate the sharing of best practices and provide information to guide national policies, according to the Bureau of National Affairs. CMS contracted with Abt to develop the demonstration project.
The government is seeking input from providers and others in the nursing home community about the proposed demonstration. Comments can be e-mailed to [email protected].
