Nursing home providers now have a one-stop source to find all of the latest information from the federal government on guidance and resources available to them.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on Friday announced the new Nursing Home Resource Center. The center will serve as a centralized hub and feature consolidated nursing home information in a user-friendly manner.

The agency noted that people seeking nursing home-specific information previously have had to navigate several web pages looking for answers. With the Resource Center, providers and caregivers can “spend less time searching for critical answers and more time caring for residents.”

“Moreover, the new platform contains features specific to residents and their families, ensuring they have the information needed to make empowered decisions about their healthcare,” CMS explained.

Facility inspection reports and data, including information from the COVID-19 pandemic, can be found through the Resource Center. The tool will be active through and beyond the public health emergency.
