Tickets to the McKnight’s workplace forum and the affiliated annual Women of Distinction Awards banquet are entering their final sales phase. The separate May 22 events will take place in the afternoon and evening, respectively, at the JW Marriott in Chicago.

Both events are open to all interested individuals in skilled nursing, senior living, home care and related fields — men and women alike. The forum includes two top-notch sessions focused on career and workplace development. The awards banquet will then honor 60 top women professionals, in four categories ranging from Rising Stars to Lifetime Achievement.

“Traits of a successful long-term care leader” will be the first hour long panel discussion, starting at 2 p.m. CT May 22.  Learn what makes a great leader in this specialized industry. Find out to what extent one is made — versus born — and the key components that deliver results. Panelists also will explore how to harness these traits to motivate and nurture up-and-comers in skilled nursing, senior living and home care.

The second session is “A lifetime of lessons from the C-suite.” It will feature three Women of Distinction Lifetime Achievement Award winners. Offering insights from their decades of experience on the leading edge of senior living and care will be panelists Marilynn Duker (pictured), co-chair of Brightview Senior Living; Lynne Katzmann, founder and CEO of Juniper Communities; and Wendy Simpson, chairman and CEO of LTC Properties.

In the evening, the separate Women of Distinction gala banquet, will feature more than 300 guests honoring the 2023 WOD award winners. Visit the event website to see a full photo gallery of the previously announced winners in the Rising Stars, Veteran VIPs, Spirit, Hall of Honor and Lifetime Achievement Award categories.

Ticket information also can be found at this site. Tickets are available separately for the forum and the banquet, or as a bundle.
