Cynthia Brown, M.D., says exercise can help mobility.

Medications for older adults, the framework of age-friendly healthcare, opioids for seniors, and mobility plans will be among the topics covered at the 17th Annual Rocky Mountain Geriatrics Conference.

The conference will be August 26 and 27 at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, Snowbird, UT. Registration is here. Nursing home administrators, policy experts, nurses, social workers and physical and occupational therapists are encouraged to attend.

Featured speakers will be Cynthia J. Brown, M.D., University of Alabama School of Medicine; Rebecca Sudore, M.D., University of California, San Francisco; and and Sunny Linnebur, PharmD, University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
