Eldermark, a software solutions company, and Avanti Senior LIving are about to launch an electronic records system to be shared through a healthcare information exchange.

The system is only for senior care providers and state vendors. Previously, records would stay at individual communities and could not be shared. Eldermark is working with Avanti on a virtual program, as well as lifestyle apps.

“We were looking for a Wi-Fi-driven system that could be integrated across all our Android devices, offer cutting-edge technology and serve a variety of functions,” said Tim Hekker, CEO of Avanti Senior Living. “After much research, we discovered Eldermark and were impressed with the flexibility and design of the programs that comprise the entire system.”

The system will track leads through move-in, and integrate all data into a system set up for residents. When data goes into Eldermark’s HIE, Avanti employees can share records with hospitals, clinicians and physicians.

Additionally, the system will feature a distinct family portal, available on mobile devices and computers. Avanti is based in The Woodlands, TX.
