Honeywell has launched the HomMed Genesis DM™ v4.15, a new version of the remote patient monitor with new peripheral devices.
These features include a handrail scale for bariatric patients or patients who need additional stability while taking vital signs. There also is a new glucometer option for those with diabetes.
The Genesis DM includes an easy user interface, Web-enabled phone line for downloads of patient specific disease management, and the ability to work without a landline. Health information is protected through encryption, and patients can receive specific messages and reminders to help remember appointments.
