Assisted Living Technologies showcases VideoCare

Assisted Living Technologies, a subsidiary under Assisted Living Services in Connecticut, launched a product called VideoCare recently.

The product provides a senior with a touch-screen system that requires no keyboard, mouse or technical skill. Features include a large touch-screen monitor with simple prompts and large visual icons. The user can connect for a face-to-face visit, leave an email message by voice, or view photos. Additionally, he or she can get reminders from a calendar, listen to music or play games.

“A simple touch opens a two-way video connection with a professional caregiver, family member or friend,” said Mario D’Aquila, who is heading up the new Assisted Living Technologies company.
