MOD Laundry is promoting its Poly-Trux® 72P bulk laundry cart, which it says consistently weighs in at tare weights that are within one pound from one to the next.
Marty Martin of Apex Linen in Las Vegas, pictured left, says this allows the weight of the cart to be bypassed when calculating incoming loads, which speeds workflow. The 72P has an internal rib structure and a poly-platform base.
“Writing the tare weight on each cart with a magic marker invites human error,” says Martin, executive vice president for Apex. “Our customers know all of our carts weigh the same and this adds confidence that our billing is fair, accurate and correct every time.
