The McKnight’s Long-Term Care News editorial and art teams went 4-for-4 in in the 2023 Hermes Creative Awards.

Achieving a top level Platinum Award was the entire McKnight’s Long-Term Care News staff for Best Magazine, in the Print Publications division. It was the third Platinum for the team in the category in the last five years, with Golds coming the other two years.

For the second straight year Gold came to McKnight’s Long-Term Care News for Best Design for Overall Publication in the Print Media division. Listed on the winning entry are former Art Director Mark Speakman, Graphic Designer Aminah Beg and Group Art Director Jennifer Dvoretz.

Senior Editor Kimberly Marselas earned an Honorable Mention commendation for Best Single Blog Post for her riveting column, “Until Ukrainian caregivers can rest, we can’t look away.” Also earning Honorable Mention was Executive Editor James M. Berklan in the Print Media Publication Column for “Nursing homes and the welcoming of reforms.”

With this year’s batch, McKnight’s Long-Term Care News’ raised its overall number of Hermes Awards to 66 over the last decade.

Its Haymarket Media sister brands also had strong showings in the Hermes competition this year. McKnight’s Senior Living won seven awards overall, including a Platinum and three Golds, and McKnight’s Home Care also won a pair of awards, including a Gold.

Each year, the Hermes Creative Awards international competition honors the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs.
