Window closing on preferred treatment for applicants seeking $100,000 in 'innovation' grants

By

The LeadingAge Innovations Fund is looking to give up to $100,000 in grant money to provider members that have developed innovative programs that can demonstrably improve conditions for residents, families, caregivers and other stakeholders in the eldercare care community. Applications will be accepted until Oct. 30, but preferential treatment will be given to applications received by Sept. 30, officials said. A matching pledge worth up to $50,000 from The New Courtland Foundation pumped the funds available up to $100,000. The stipends will be awarded in increments of up to $25,000 in the first year.
