The American Health Care Association will be hosting its annual Congressional briefing meeting Monday and Tuesday in the nation’s capital. Members from around the country will gather to learn the latest on Beltway politics, lobby their lawmakers and earn up to 8.5 continuing education credits.

Top executives of both AHCA and its sister organization, the National Center for Assisted Living, will address the gathering before making way for Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR) and the Joe Warner Patient Advocacy Awards ceremony.

Tuesday will feature information briefings by AHCA Director of Government Relations Clifton J. Porter II. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is also expected to make an appearance.
