The National Center for Assisted Living opens its annual spring conference Tuesday at the Westin Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. An “intense, in-depth learning experience” that will focus on “the customer experience,” according to organizers, the two-day conference promises to teach processes that will “improve your reputation, and increase revenues.”

Hot topics to be discussed during breakout sessions include hospital readmissions, dementia care, accountable care organizations, and rising acuity issues. Up to 10.75 continuing education units can be earned. Keynote speakers include authors Jackie Freiberg, a corporate culture and leadership strategist, and Vicki Hess, an expert in employee engagement and workforce and leadership development.
