International experts in the field of long-term care will converge in St. Louis today and tomorrow for in-depth discussions and study about taking care of the elderly. 

Presenters include Florida Atlantic University’s Joseph Ouslander, M.D. on hospitalizations in long-term care; University of Missouri’s Marilyn Rantz, Ph.D., RN, on technology in nursing homes; Belgium’s Majda Azermai, Ph.D., RN, on the use of psychotropic drugs in nursing homes; University of London’s Martin Orrell, Ph.D., on cognitive stimulation therapy in nursing homes, and the University of Maryland’s Barbara Resnick, Ph.D., RN on the latest research in nursing homes.
