The Institute for Diversity in Health Management will be hosting a webinar to teach healthcare providers about the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care. “The New and Enhanced National CLAS Standard: A Reintroduction” will be held on Wednesday July 31 at 1 p.m. EDT. Registration is free to institute members and $99 for non-members. Presenters include the manager and senior health education and policy specialist of Health Determinants and Disparities Practice, SRA International, Inc., or Godfrey Jacobs and Darci Graves respectively.

The National CLAS Standards aim to help facilities provide care with respect to cultural and linguistic needs of all individuals, thus making healthcare more effective and equal, officials said.
