Vidyo, a video collaboration technology company, announced a partnership with Zillion Health, a patient engagement platform.
Zillon allows face-to-face communication through its platform via the Vidyo.io API platform. This allows users to schedule and communication with telemedicine, the company said.
Zillion officials said they wanted to leverage Vidyo’s healthcare experience and offer tight electronic medical record integration. Interactions can include live consultations, scheduling appointments or sharing documents.
“The Zillion platform is empowering and meeting the needs of a highly mobile patient population, and their care teams require a telehealth experience that runs reliably and flexibly over WiFi, 4G and the public Internet,” said Vidyo Vice President of Telehealth Business Development Mark Noble.
