Kendra Urdzik, CEO, Judson Services, Inc.

There’s a new chief executive at one aging services provider in Ohio.

Judson Services Inc., based in Cleveland, just announced that it has tapped Kendra J. Urdzik as its new president and CEO. She has spent more than 20 years in the industry, most recently as a vice president and chief collaborative health officer with Judson. She’s also a licensed nursing home administrator and an active member of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy, according to a company announcement.

Workforce improvement, memory care expansion and technology improvements will be her leading priorities, she said. She added that listening to employees will also be crucial. “Listening — really listening — to both residents and associates has given me wonderful insight into how every member of the Judson team has great ideas to share,” she said.

The nonprofit provider has four subsidiaries — Judson at University Circle, which includes the Judson Park and Judson Manor continuing care retirement communities; South Franklin Circle, another CCRC in Chagrin Falls; Judson Home Care, comprising the company’s hospice and at-home divisions; and the fundraising Judson Foundation.
