UHS-Pruitt Corporation, which has more than 200 locations throughout the Southeast and its headquarters in Georgia, is changing its name to PruittHealth.

Company Chairman and CEO Neil L. Pruitt Jr., who also serves as the AHCA/NCAL chairman, said PruittHealth will also have modified branding to showcase the company’s services.

The announcement was made in connection with the opening of a new PruittHealth Lifestyle Community, The Oak of Athens, in late August. The $22 million rehabilitation and post-acute care center is on 45 acres. Skilled nursing and rehabilitation center amenities include an advanced therapy wing for in-patient and outpatient treatment, indoor aquatic therapy pool, coffee shop, two movie theaters, four restaurant-style dining venues, and a library.

All UHS-Pruitt entities are expected to fully switch over by Jan. 1.
