McKnight's Fall Online Expo

The fourth annual McKnight’s Fall Online Expo takes place today, with educational sessions kicking off at 11 a.m. ET.

Licensed social worker Steven Greenwald will start the day at 11 a.m. with a session titled “Bullying within long-term care settings.” Greenwald will share information with providers on the drivers behind bullying in LTC settings, and how staff can step in when bullying occurs.

The day continues at 12:30 p.m. ET with “Using healthcare claims to support facility decisions,” presented by Robin Gelburd, J.D., president of FAIR Health. Gelburd will help providers break down demographic data related to their healthcare claims, and share how it can play a role in supporting market decisions.

Lorraine Possanza, DPM, JD, with the ECRI Institute, closes out the day at 2 p.m. with her presentation, “Health IT safe practices: what you need to know.” Attendees can expect to leave Possanza’s session with a better understanding of the safety risks and benefits associated with health information technology, how they can address health IT-related issues in their own facilities.

A virtual exhibit hall featuring top vendors will be available to Expo attendees through the day, as well as up to three free continuing education credits for those who listen in to the sessions live.
