TripleCare, a provider of telemedicine-based services, said it has expanded its relationship with Saber Healthcare Group, which owns and operates 105 skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities.

TripleCare rolled out its platform to Saber facilities in Virginia with an expected completion date of the end of 2017. TripleCare currently providers Saber SNFs in Pennsylvania with virtual telemedicine services.

“We are so pleased that Saber has expanded their relationship with TripleCare, based on their satisfaction with our performance at other Saber facilities with which we have been working for the past several years. Our ability to help Saber manage and care for their patients on-site, rather than sending them to the hospital, is what led to the Virginia expansion, and a new state for TripleCare,” said Mary Jo Gorman, chief executive officer at TripleCare.

Other Saber facilities in the Midwest said last month they are using TeleCare Partners for adding telemedicine services.
