Long-term care should use more tech-based learning collaboratives: experts

Technology-based learning collaboratives are an underutilized resource within long-term care and may be a great tool to help the field develop a pandemic preparation plan for the future. That’s according to experts at a session on tech innovations in crisis management during the LeadingAge Center for Aging Services Technologies 2021 Collaborative Care & Health IT Innovations Summit, which took place online recently.

The LeadingAge Center for Aging Services Technology (CAST) has updated its Telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring Selection Tool with five new products and vendors and two new case studies.

LeadingAge’s Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST) has released a Telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Selection Tool and set of six case studies on the topic. The online selection tool guides users through the process of selecting telehealth and RPM products based on their criteria. It contains 22 products from 16 vendors. The case studies were compiled to offer additional information.

LeadingAge’s Center for Aging Services Technologies has released a white paper and selection matrix for telehealth.
Long-term care, physician practices and other health networks may be examining telehealth, which includes remote patient monitoring, the organization noted.
