Wake Forest University researchers reported they have successfully developed an “ink-jet” type device that can spray skin-cells directly onto humans. If successful, the device could dramatically change the way providers treat wounds, especially for recovering burn victims. So far, the device has shown positive results on mice. But human testing is expected to begin shortly.
