An Illinois retirement community is facing a lawsuit after inappropriate photos of memory care residents were shared by the ex-boyfriend of a former employee on Facebook, as well as one of the provider's own social media accounts.
The "Healthcare Web Summit" will discuss a broad range of findings about healthcare social media use during an hour-long webcast starting at 1 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Thursday. Benchmarked findings will be released and compared to 2011 study results. Attendees also will receive access to a white paper. MCOL and PricewaterhouseCoopers will unveil findings that should interest stakeholders across a wide range of healthcare entities, organizers say.
