The former administrator of a Pennsylvania nursing home has pleaded not guilty to charges that he allegedly stole more than $10,000 from the facility.

James H. Faust was charged with 25 counts of theft in November, after he allegedly used a charitable bank account registered to the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chambersburg, PA, for personal purchases, ATM withdrawals and checks.

Faust pleaded not guilty by waiving his arraignment hearing last Wednesday, the Chambersburg Public Opinion reports.

Faust’s alleged thefts occurred between September 2014 and May 2015, amounting to a total of $10,678. He resigned in May 2015

After Faust’s resignation, Falling Spring received a letter saying the address to its one of its accounts had been changed from the facility’s address to Faust’s home address, according to authorities. Faust also made an ATM withdrawal from the facility’s account the day he resigned.

No date has been set for Faust’s pre-trial conference, and he has not been incarcerated on the charges.
