Seniorlink Inc., the parent company of Caregiver Homes, has partnered with Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Sciences to form a dementia program.

Vital Outcomes Inspire Caregiver Empowerment (VOICE) is a home- and community-based program geared toward caregiver engagement.

Northeastern University’s Carmen Castaneda-Sceppa, M.D., Ph.D.; Irina Todorova, Ph.D.; Hope Turner, MSW; Aziza Jamal-Allial, Ph.D.; and Alice Bonner, RN, Ph.D., along with Seniorlink’s David Young, Ph.D., introduced VOICE at the Gerontological Society of America’s Annual Scientific Meeting in Florida.

VOICE is currently in pilot stage and is working on helping alleviate the stress and support caregivers.

Caregiver Homes offers a long-term care service model called Structured Family Caregiving currently available in six states.
