Wolters Kluwer Health adds resident care planning help
Wolters Kluwer Health is adding components to the Lippencott Advisor in the long-term care setting, which will help nurses and clinicians develop better resident care plans, the company said.
A total of 247 LTC nursing care plan entries — one for each of the LTC-specific diseases and conditions included in Lippincott Advisor — will be added by next August. The first 62 entries are available immediately and target 18 disease state categories, including cardiovascular disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, psychiatric disorders and respiratory disorders. Nurses can create personalized care plans with information directly from the Lippencott Advisor, and the plan can be emailed.
“Long-term care facilities and their clinicians can simplify and accelerate the care planning process and individualize residents' care plans using the latest evidence-based information found in Advisor,” said Judith McCann, MSN, RN, Chief Nurse for Wolters Kluwer Health, Professional & Education.
