A healthcare system in Monmouth County, NJ, is revisiting long-standing plans to build two new facilities on vacant land off of Route 34, according to local reports.

Meridian Quality Care plans to present the Holmdel Planning Board with plans for an assisted living facility and a skilled nursing facility this summer, The Two River Times reported.

The skilled nursing component would have 130 beds and include a post-surgery rehabilitation center. The closet Meridian facility is in Shrewsbury, NJ.
