Status Solutions has added mass dialing to its Situational Awareness and Response Assistant (SARA), the company announced.

This will let providers make large volumes of both emergency and non-emergency calls. Healthcare organizations may use this for weather warnings or evacuation.

Alerts include data about the unfolding situation, approximate location and instructions based on an organization’s predefined emergency/mass notification protocols (i.e., modes and actions), the company said.

“The telephone call is still an effective means of communicating information, especially for organizations that need to contact a large number of constituents,” explains Mike MacLeod, president of Status Solutions. “True mass dialing with the SARA solution ensures outreach through landlines and smartphones, providing real-time alerting and redundancy, which are both important in life safety and security situations.”
