Trinity Health and Saint Francis have established a new not-for-profit regional health system in New England. Christopher M. Dadlez, FACHE, president and CEO of Saint Francis Care, immediately assumed the role of president and CEO of the new, yet-to-be-named New England system.

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital and other Saint Francis entities will provide care under the new Trinity Health region in New England, as will the Sisters of Providence Health System in Springfield, MA., and its subsidiaries. Daniel P. Moen will continue to serve as president and CEO of Sisters of Providence Health System.

“Trinity Health is committed to strengthening Catholic healthcare locally and nationally through the delivery of people-centered care," said Richard J. Gilfillan, M.D., president and CEO of Trinity Health. "We are now taking that commitment further with the help of a new region that joins Saint Francis Care with Sisters of Providence Health System in our shared, faith-based mission to serve the people and communities of New England."
