Report released on Texas CCRCs
More than half of Texas continuing care retirement communities have been open for more than 26 years, according to a new report from Ziegler and My Life Site. Most of the state's CCRCs are not-for-profit, according to a joint report called “A Profile of Texas Entry-Fee Continuing Care Retirement Communities.”
Assisted living and SNF care make up 39% of the CCRCs, the report said. Entry fees range from a low of $130,579 to nearly $530,000, while monthly fees ranged from around $2,000 to more than $4,800.
The Texas report is the third in a state-by-state series developed by the two companies, with previous reports focused on Virginia and Maryland.
