CNAonline.com, part of Academic Platforms, announced it is expanding its How to Be a Nurse Assistant course.

The How to be a Nurse Assistant curriculum is written by Jeanne Boschert RN, BS, MCC, vice president of clinical education for Academic Platforms, and focuses on clinical and practical skills. There is a online resources portal for instructions and an administrative management portal for registration and student progress analytics.

The model is approved in eight states: Iowa, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, South Dakota, Vermont, Tennessee and Florida. The company offers accredited and non-accredited versions.

The company has signed distribution agreements with multiple state American Health Care Association affiliates: Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota and South Dakota.
